 If anybody is looking for a great guide or a reason to go with Mike here's a reason for ya last year I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer and had been feeling really down due to my treatments and needed to get out of the house so my friend Frank called me up and said "hey man we're going fishing." I replied and said "ok where?" Well with out telling me him and Mike surprised me and we spent the entire day on the water and didn't come in until we had caught a three man limit of fish. And at the end of the day I tried to pay for my half of the trip and mike looked at me a said it was on him. This man has a heat of gold and made my day totally worth coming out. He's a fantastic guy and one hell of a guide.  

 I called Mike and explained to him that I was tired of seeing people fishing around me limit out while I headed back to the marina with two or three fish. Mike took on the challenge with no hesitation. He came aboard my boat and showed me what I was doing wrong, what I was doing right, and expanded my knowledge of things I had no idea about (apps to use, line types, depth and speed importance). I came out of the experience feeling like a walleyes worst nightmare!  I would do it again in a heartbeat! Can’t thank you enough!

 Awesome charter with Mike, couldn’t have asked for a better trip. 4 of us new to vertical jigging for walleye went with Mike. He did a great job of showing us the basics. Mike does a great job of controlling the boat and keeping everyone vertical, giving them the best chance of getting a bite. We started off in 3 spots where everyone was fishing. Things were very slow in these areas and wasn’t producing. Mike used his vast knowledge of the river and ran us 15 miles away to a spot where no one was fishing. We spent the rest of the day there on one drift catching all our fish. It was awesome and great time for all us guys. When a guide can say, I guarantee you we catch a fish in front of that boat house on the first drift and you end up getting 2-3 of them in that exact spot. It don’t get much more skilled then that. Highly recommend MMO for a walleye river charter. Had a great time and will be back for sure. Thanks again Mike!   

 Booked my first trip with Mike was trying new Great Lake and due to circumstances beyond our control gotta late start Mike was concerned missed morning bite. But after we got settled in it was crazy ,@61 I been perchin a minute @33 Mike schools me up fish after fish no bites in the back , watched and noticed he was getting bit on slack line sinker on bottom. I’d quit tight lining and wow a lot of 13s “ i lost my biggest one but saved 250 taxidermy bill . Besides all kinds of stories I really wanna say learning I don’t need to anchor to perch fish was/ is priceless thanks for breaking my Great Depression of 2020 highly recommend this young man is top notch FYI if I get another ride in sparkly bring ur best friend I’m dog friendly 😎 thanx again tight lines  

 This was our first ever charter and didn't know what to expect.  We had a great time with Mike fishing on Saginaw Bay!  He was very willing to answer all our questions.  Very patient with my 14 year old daughter and helped her catch a bunch of fish!  She had a blast!  I would definitely recommend Captain Mike to anyone who wants to catch some walleye on Saginaw Bay!  I wouldn't hesitate to go out with him again!  In fact I'm hoping to book a trip to do some jigging for walleye on the river next spring!   

 First time out ever on the Saginaw Bay so I was looking for someone who obviously puts a lot of time in out on the water. MMO is the charter for the job. His knowledge and patience for a first timer was exactly what I was looking for. I will be booking another trip solely based on his drive to provide a great experience.
